Summery Pastels for Brunch at The Rockefeller
One of the things I love about The Rockefeller? It's so low-key! Because it's located by the beach, there seems to be an unofficial rule that you can don more of a dressy-casual look rather than going all out. I never dress down that much, but I love to play up the theme and the vibe of the restaurant! Side note, this is totally a spot you can get away with wearing a cute pair of heels with a more toned down outfit.
I knew I wanted to go for something beachy, and what's more fitting than soft, bright and summery pastels?
I actually planned this outfit out based on my accessories! I got this gorgeous little peach clutch from a darling brand called Lilly & Oak. They're based out of Dallas and all of their designs are handmade to perfection! The Julian Clutch is perfectly sized for every day essentials, and is finished with a leather sheen to protect the natural state. It's made out of softly pebbled natural leather, and I'm obsessed with its gilded hardware too. The quality of this bag is so apparent and is truly so convenient - I am one of those girls who either has a teeny little bag to put my essentials in, or I throw everything in a giant tote and never see it again. But, we all know you can't do that at brunch! The bag is dainty, simple, feminine and a total conversation starter.
Next up, the shoes. I am always looking for a different pair of shoes to shake up my usual black or nude pair. I found these great chunky nude heels (before I even found my dress!) with floral embroidery on the heel and fell in love! So perfect for a beachy brunch.
The ultimate summer brunch look? A denim dress of course! I wore this off-the-shoulder dress which ended up being so fitting for the occasion. Not too casual, not too dressy but a dash of flirty and fun. I finished off the look with a crystal flower choker necklace that complimented my clutch and the floral embroidery on the shoes perfectly.
When you're dressing for your next brunch at The Rockefeller, think: playful, beachy and simple.
