The Gilded Bellini is BACK with brunch outfit inspiration! Lulus is one of my go-to online shopping sites to find super chic and affordable stand-out looks, so I was super excited when Lulus sent me a few outfits and accessories to step up my brunch attire game and share with you.

I Shopped the Parker New York Sample Sale at 260 LA for 4 Looks and Here's What I Found

I looove a good designer discount! I couldn’t be more excited because this week is the Parker New York Sample Sale at 260 LA in Beverly Hills. Each week a new designer comes in to sell, and you’re able to score crazy deals on beautiful quality items. Parker New York has always been one of my favorite brands because everything is so well made, intricately detailed and really make a stand out look. At the sale, they had everything from ready to wear samples to cocktail dresses and special occasion gowns - aka, I was in heaven!

I needed to get 4 different looks for specific occasions, and I want to share what I found with you guys! If you’re in the LA area, make sure you stop in by Sunday, February 3rd when the sale ends and a new designer comes in to take its spot.

Valentine’s Day

This is literally called the “Bellini” dress!!! It was calling my name. Perfect for a Valentine’s Day date, date night, or even a Galentine’s Day party with a pair of nude heels.

Day to Night

Such a staple! I found this and instantly could see so many outfit options - it could be worn with platform sneakers during the day, and high heels at night. It would look fab with a denim or a leather jacket any time of day...or night.

Brunch

The ultimate pop of color for brunch! This dress is super comfy and is great for dining alfresco in the spring or summer. It can even be worn now in the cooler weather with a chic leather jacket.

Award Show

This is hands down the most gorgeous gown I have ever worn! The photos do not do it justice. I’m obsessed with this gorgeous, gilded metallic look from head to toe. I literally felt like a goddess wearing this. Parker ALWAYS has the best special occasion gowns. Needless to say I fell in love with this dress instantly.

3 Dresses You Need for 3 Different Brunching Situations

Yes, you read the title of this post correctly. I have said it before and I will say it again - brunch is way more than just a meal. In recent years, it’s become a way to break the ice, bond with new and old friends and is even a date activity. Seriously, I just had a friend go on a date to brunch at Estrella with a guy she recently met.

You know what this all means? You can’t just wear the same dress to brunch all the time. Just because it’s a daytime look doesn’t mean that it’s appropriate. I’m always talking about that you have to match the vibe of a spot. But have you thought of matching the situation you’re in?

Considering that there’s so many possible brunching situations, preparing for the occasion is a must. If you follow along frequently, you obviously know I love and adore Ali & Jay because they make the best dresses that are so versatile and that you can wear over and over by just switching up a few minor things, like adding a jacket or wearing heels instead of flats.

Bodycon and hugs in all the right places! The I Got You Sheath Dress is super flattering and the colors are everything for the holiday season. Throw a leather jacket on over it and watch your date swoon.

THE BIZ BRUNCH

Networking and going over business deals over bellinis? It doesn’t get any better. I am obsessed with this So Much to Give Mini dress because it’s a gorgeous green stand out (and memorable) emerald color. It’s flirty and trendy but still professional. This one is actually sold out but this Party Dress Mini is a similar and very flattering style.

BRUNCH WITH THE BESTIES

There’s just something about a flowy sundress that gets you pumped for brunching with your friends, especially if the brunch is going to be alfresco! This is definitely one of my favorite dresses from earlier this fall from Ali & Jay, but thankfully they are all about the flow and always have new and swoon-worthy designs that come out frequently. This Wanna Dance Maxi is similar in fit and makes you want to spin in circles and take a billion boomerangs with a mimosa your hand!

A Blush Pink Moment | Brunch at Norah + The Michael Costello Dress I'm Obsessed With

I am all about coordinating with a certain vibe of the brunch spots I go to. I always get asked about what to wear to certain places, which totally makes sense because of the obvious: you can’t underdress to brunch somewhere that’s a bit more elevated.

When I recently brunched at Norah in West Hollywood, I knew I wanted to really embody the ambiance and the feel of the space in terms of the neutral colors. PS - I always tell people before picking your outfit for brunch (or really anywhere else), look it up on Instagram. See the way other people are dressed that go there just to get a sense of whether it’s dressy or casual. Then head to the restaurant’s IG to get a feel for the atmosphere.

Back to Norah: I knew that with the golds, marbles, blacks and neutrals of the space, I wanted to go for a look that would compliment those tones visually - so I obviously went with blush (or millennial pink, whatever you wanna call it).

I found and fell in love with this AMAZE Michael Costello x Revolve dress and thought it was the most perfect thing. Seriously, I have never gotten more compliments and questions on a brunch look than this one! It’s the perfect shade of blush/nude with intricate floral lace detail and the cold shoulders really made this dress appropriate for a day time brunching affair.

Also - side note! My bag was a stunning pink leather Tory Burch that I actually got from Bag Borrow or Steal. I had never done anything like that before but I really wanted to find a bag that would perfectly match this dress. I am such a fan now of this site and would totally rent a bag again.

Onto the next brunch!!!

5 Hot Brunch Spots in LA Right Now to Wear This Two-Piece Set

One of my favorite things about brunching is putting together the perfect outfit of course. The one that you're going to feel most comfortable in, but one that's chic and matches the vibe of the restaurant as well. Not to mention, I always keep in mind whichever one is going to look best in photos... I can't be the only one who saves the best outfit for brunch! Brunch + natural lighting + cute outfit = one happy girl.

I fell in love with this two-piece set by Ali & Jay because it is all of these things! It's beyond comfy (good for not needing to suck in your stomach while eating) and the off the shoulder crop top is like a two-for-one steal for me. I love a great crop top or off-the-shoulder moment and this combo is super flattering. The skirt is a great length too for any height because you're able to lift up the skirt a little bit if you're on the shorter side like me, and the skirt can be pulled down a bit as well if you're tall.

I love the criss-cross detail of the top and the outfit all together has a very Spanish-style, vacation type feel. Personally, this really matches with the vibe of different brunch spots with a lot of natural lighting, air spaces and fresh, beautiful meals.

To put it simply, it's a total "hotspot look" as I like to call it. It's an outfit that you want to be see in, at a place that you want to be seen at.... because it's GORG!
