Pops of Color for Brunch at Ysabel
For my recent brunch at Ysabel, I really wanted to play up a super colorful look to fit in with the upcoming summertime weather, in addition to the restaurant's twinkling open atmosphere. This is the perfect spot to add some warm weather flirtiness into your look!
Ysabel is definitely a brunch spot to get a little dressy. I decided to wear this adorable high waisted blue pinstripe skirt with ruffles and cropped wrap top set from Melrose in the OC paired with lacy nude heels. An outfit like this one is totally acceptable for Ysabel, especially because it's got such a downplayed, yet festive vibe.
Initially when I first tried this on, I just wanted to spin around in circles like a little girl because the skirt is just so fun! And I think you know by now how much I love my crop tops! The wrap factor really adds that flattering touch that is more unique than just a regular crop.
I really wanted to take it a step further and add an unexpected pop of color into the brunch look, so I went with accessorizing with my new favorite Pink Circle Bag by LOUISE & ELEANOR! Not only is the bag an adorable shade of bubblegum pink, but it is completely leather, is super roomy (comfortably holds a wallet and my iPhone 7+!), an interior pocket, an adjustable cross-body strap. Another thing I love about this brand? Every purchase on LOUISE & ELEANOR makes a positive difference! The brand partners with women's charities donating a % from every item sold to women's non-profit organizations. This bag has become my new-go to and was a total conversation starter at Ysabel!
If you're planning on brunching at Ysabel, I'd recommend keeping in mind a dressier look with a playful, daytime spin! What do you plan to wear to your next brunch here?
