Earthy Hues at Ivory on Sunset
Ivory on Sunset is known for its culinary concept that is based on Hollywood’s Golden Age. Just by hearing those three words, it's clear that this is one uh-mazing spot. To put it simply… you need to dress fabulously when you’re here!
Anytime I’ve brunched at Ivory on Sunset, I notice that guests always look their best. Most will don an outfit highlighting an effortlessly glamorous look and that’s exactly what I did!
I wore a fitted midi slipdress by Painted Threads that was a black and tan tie-dye print. If you can tell by my past posts, I LOVE tie dye! The earthy hue tones of the dress added a naturalistic edge to the look. The frilly layer at the top of the dress created a fab faux-layered appearance. The dress had a slit in it also for some added flirtiness - I love a good dress slit!
Because the dress was super fitted and had spaghetti straps, I knew I wanted to keep my undergarments comfy and hidden! I wore my Nüdwear bra – it’s a backless, strapless and adhesive lace bra so perfect for this dress and all my other summer skin baring styles. My favorite thing about it is that I can get about 100 wears out of it. It’s a win-win situation!
I paired the dress with my nude caged heels by Steve Madden – my go-to heels to add the perfect amount of stylishness without clashing with the dress.
If you're brunching at here, don't be afraid to "overdress." Think: you're on Sunset Blvd. at one of the chic-est hotels in West Hollywood... Walk through Ivory on Sunset's door looking fly!
